Woah

Looks like I've been a bad bad blog poster, sorry about that Im working on trying to correct that. Im trying to come up with some ideas to keep be busy drawing and creating and posting. Any suggestions??? I have a few ideas and will work on them in time.

Day two on this painting.

Well here's day two. Man I'm really enjoying painting in oils again. Digital art does NOT compare (no undos)
Im still learning but having fun.

Here we go again...Im trying another portrait. So far it's going ok...not sure where im at with it at this point. But I do have some plans for it. Stay tuned for updates for it.

Day 3

Well day 3 has come and is now going...only one more day to go. I am seriously relearning a lot just by painting. And im starting to see like a painter once again. Feels good. One more day with this one and then i'll call it quits and start something new.
Any who...enjoy and as always comments and crits are welcome.

ooh yea one of theses days im going to figure out all the fancy schmancy settings on my camera...the colors are close but not quite there.

Post Number 2 here...Im doing my best to keep up with the posts here. So far so good.
I've been hankering to do some oil painting again, mainly portraits. I've been drawing from the Fairburn Figure System books (which by the way are AMAZING, if you can find them) This is some dude that's featured in one of the face books. So far this is just an under-painting and im looking forward to (hopefully) finishing this tomorrow.
I'm also relearning lots by watching the Shawn Barber DVD which has some amazing tips...check it out if your able.
Well it's getting late and tomorrow's going to be a big day at work, so im gonna hit the hay soon.
